There is a third person version but it is old. This fps version is remastered with better graphics.

Yes. This a same game with better 3d models and textures.

How many chapters is there? Can I save my game between chapters or do I have to play the whole game in one sitting?

There is an auto save system between levels and gameplay is around one hour long.
